Parsenn a timeless classic
Infinitely wide and long slopes await you at the timeless classic of all ski mountains in Davos Klosters. With more than 100 km of slopes, it is the region’s largest ski resort and forms the connection between Davos and Klosters. Its special feature: There is a suitable slope for every skier and snowboarder on Parsenn. Beginners, occasional skiers or seasoned pros are spoilt for choice on the giant among the region’s mountains. A large selection of different slopes, one of the longest runs in the Alps with 12 kilometres in length, challenging steep descents, and race tracks where your speed is measured: That’s what provides maximum variety for your ski holidays.
Our slope tip: a ride in the first cable car up to Weissfluh’s summit is an extraordinary experience. At the highest point of the ski resort – at almost 2,850 metres above sea level, you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. And then, it's time to dash back down again! On the black Gipfel-Nord-Abfahrt (northern summit descent), you will head down to the Stations of the Cross and all the way to Schifer. Treat yourself to this sporty challenge and swoosh over the perfectly groomed snow carpet of this one-of-a-kind run!

Jakobshorn the event and fun mountain
The quickest and most comfortable way to get to the Jakobshorn’s summit is by cable car. Once at the mountain station, skiers and snowboarders can choose from 55 kilometres of slopes and several highlights for adrenaline junkies – for instance, the JatzPark. The freestyle hotspot on Jakobshorn impresses its visitors with a beginner and a medium line, a large kicker as well as various rails and boxes. Event mountain is not only the first mountain in this region where snowboarders could practice their skills way back in the day and before it was cool. The Jakobshorn is also known for unique events on the mountain or at the Bolgen. Legendary après-ski parties are an integral part of winter holidays in Davos – and so are the excellent culinary offers at the numerous huts on the mountain.
Our slope tip: the Jakobshorn Nord and Bräma black runs are challenging, steep slopes for experienced skiers. No wonder the mountain is the competition site of European Cup races such as the Junior World Skiing Championships, which was held here in 2018. On the “1k Vertical Jakobshorn” route, you can measure yourself on a ride from the summit to the valley. At the same time, Jakobshorn also offers a wide range of blue and red slopes for more leisurely skiers.
Rinerhorn the insider’s tip
An insider’s tip for all ski and snowboard enthusiasts is the Rinerhorn in Davos Glaris. The ski resort with a total of 47 kilometres of slopes is located just outside Davos Platz, which you can reach by taking the local bus. Surrounded by Sertigtal Valley in the east and Landwassertal Valley in the west, Rinerhorn offers plenty of space for wide carving turns. The ski resort is also an insider’s tip among locals and families. Far away from the hustle and bustle of busy slopes, both skiers and snowboarders can choose from a multitude of long downhill runs and exciting freeride opportunities. The magical forest with its witches and waves is great fun for little winter sports enthusiasts. And the breathtaking scenic views of the Swiss Alps will be the icing on your ski day cake.
Our slope tip: Taking the Nülli ski lift is well worth it! The ascent is in itself an amazing experience thanks to the stunning mountain scenery all around you. And once you arrive at the top, two thrilling downhill runs – number 8 Standard and number 9 Nülli – will already be waiting for you. If you prefer a more challenging run, take the black slope number 10 via Leidbachtal Valley! All three routes boast absolute skiing bliss from the mountain station down to the valley.
A highlight in the evening hours: Every Wednesday and Friday evening, you can go nighttime skiing and nighttime sledging on Rinerhorn. We recommend you stop by at one of the restaurants for a delicious snack afterwards.
Pischa the local recreational area
Pischa, as the local recreational area of Davos, offers peace, quiet and relaxation far away from the hustle and bustle of busy slopes. Enjoying your time in nature and alternative snow sports clearly take centre stage here. And on the sun decks of the mountain restaurants, winter sports enthusiasts can kick back and enter in a deep state of relaxation. Pischa’s special feature: You won't find a single groomed slope on this mountain. So, it is not surprising that it’s an insider’s tip among freeride skiers and snowboarders.
Our tip: Treat yourself to some winter sports fun on Pischa on days with fresh powder snow! Because that’s when a ride with the first cable car is even more worthwhile. You can get back down to the starting point via numerous pristine freeride descents. And once you’re at the cable car station, you can do it all over again and enjoy many more thrilling descents down into the valley.
Madrisa a mountain for families
On Madrisa in Klosters, beginners and families feel especially comfortable. 31 kilometres of slopes and lifts suitable for small children and people special needs make a ski excursion to Madrisa a relaxed winter experience for everyone.
Our slope tip: A visit to the picturesque Schlappin Valley followed by a beautiful downhill descent is an absolute highlight on Madrisa. Through snow-covered woods and through a romantic valley, the multi-faceted slope leads you all the way down to Klosters. Gasthaus Erika, which is located along the way, is the perfect location to warm up and enjoy a tasty snack.
